Jamie Gramlich, MSW, RMFT
Hello! My name is Jamie. I am a registered social worker with a Master’s degree from Dalhousie University. I have a long history of helping children and families work through some of their biggest challenges, and have done so in several different roles. My primary interest is in how trauma and maltreatment (including systemic maltreatment and social injustice) impact families, and how relationships among family members can be powerful sources of healing. I love helping families utilize and build relationships that enhance their wellbeing. I work from an orientation of systems theory, social constructionism, and narrative therapy. In addition to being a therapist at Elbow Springs Counselling, I also am the family therapist for an in-patient program for adolescents and their families who are experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

Christopher Scissons, MSW, RCSW
Hello! My name is Christopher Scissons. I am a registered clinical social worker with a Master’s Degree in clinical practice from the University of Calgary. I have over 25 years of experience working in Human Services in the Calgary community with at risk youth and families, which includes 8 years of clinical practice providing therapy to individuals, couples and families with a wide range of issues including complex mental health. I currently support parents and families with involvement with child protection issues, and provide evaluation and consultation for child development issues. I believe in providing a safe, comfortable atmosphere with enriching, purposeful conversations that will promote healing, personal growth, and opportunities to break old patterns or unwanted ways of thinking and behavior towards desirable change. I look forward to connecting with you to discuss your unique concerns and experience.
Monica Wiebe, ATR, MSW, RSW
Hi! My name is Monica Wiebe. I am a registered art therapist with a Master’s Degree in art therapy from Concordia University in Montreal. I am also a registered social worker with a Master’s Degree in clinical practice from the University of Calgary where I am a sessional instructor, teaching an introductory art therapy course.
I have over 27 years of clinical practice experience working in community mental health settings serving children, adolescents and adults. My approach integrates art therapy and social work theories with a trauma-informed and strengths-based lens. I offer opportunities for art making and creativity within a safe and supportive environment where client goals can be addressed. Art therapy can offer non-verbal ways to express, explore and understand thoughts and feelings that might be difficult to articulate. It can be effective for anyone and no prior art experience is required.
